The Community and Media Relations team delivers a full range of communications and marketing initiatives to support the City’s focus on sustainability and customer service.
As Communications Coordinator you will develop and implement media relations strategies and identify potential issues and develop effective responses. You will provide communications expertise and strategic advice to all City departments. The ability to balance priorities and multiple issues is critical.

With a post secondary education in a communications related field (public relations, journalism etc.) you will have a proven track record in media relations, stakeholder relations and issues management. You will work as part of a collaborative team building strong relationships with senior managers and the community at large. Thriving in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging environment is essential.
