The program will cover the following:
· Pre-departure orientation
· Return airfare ticket
· Single entry visa (if required)
· Recommended vaccines
· Accommodation
· Living allowance
· Health insurance
· Debriefing upon return to Canada
The qualified candidate must:
· Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
· Be currently registered or have recently graduated from a Canadian college or university;
· Be medically fit;
· Successfully pass the selection process;
· Be available for a minimum of 12 weeks in placement;
· Commit to carry‐out at least one public engagement activity in Canada prior to
· departure or upon return.
The selected participant will be required to contribute $3 000.00 to cover a portion of the total costs of the internship

To apply, submit the following documents to swb@wusc.ca:
· A copy of your résumé
· Letter of intent outlining why you are applying for a particular placement
· Three reference letters (including two academic)
· A list of no more than three (3) placements in order of preference.
Please note: Candidates will be chosen on a first come first serve basis. Not all placements are eligible for these funded internships. For more information, contact us at swb@wusc.ca
If you don’t qualify under the conditions stated above (for example, if you are an international student attending a Canadian post-secondary institution), you can still apply for these same placements!
