There’s a potential job opening here at the Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation and we wanted to forward it along to you in case you know someone who may fit the bill and is currently looking for employment. The job is a one-year contract position (with a three-month probationary period) in the prevention programming and public affairs department. We are looking for someone who has strong writing skills, is an extraordinary time manager, detailed-oriented, quick learner, and able to handle many competing demands under pressure. An ideal candidate would have prior experience in issues management, media relations and corporate communications. Experience in event management would also be an asset. This would be a mid-level (i.e. not entry) position and would report to the Manager, Communications.
