The Association of Academic Staff: University of Alberta (AASUA) requires a Membership Services Officer (MSO) to help us advocate for our expanding membership.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Proven ability to counsel/negotiate/mediate/facilitate
• Analytical abilities and a cooperative attitude
• Commitment to resolving workplace issues
• Post-secondary education and/or professional designation
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in any of the
following:
• Human resources
• Labour relations
• Occupational health
• Social services
• Law
• Education
• FOIPP
• Social advocacy
