Position: Administrative Assistant

Position Description

Reporting to the Office & HR Manager, the Administrative
Assistant is responsible for providing reception,
administrative and clerical support. This position is ideal
for someone with an administrative background who is looking
to use their skills with a non for profit organization.
Their work will contribute to an efficient and effective
work environment. The Administrative Assistant will:
* Assistance and support to management, Financial
Administrator and staff
* Provide HR support as needed
* Provide non-technical IT support
* Administrative support to Vancouver and Calgary team
* General office duties: phone, mail, fax, courier and
correspondence
* Assist with travel arrangements
* Assist with the formatting and development of documents and
presentations
* Assist with meeting, conference and event planning and
scheduling

Minimum Requirements

This position requires administrative support experience.
The candidate will ideally have 3 years experience in an
administrative support role and be organized and detailed
oriented. The Administrative Assistant will be part of a fun
and friendly team striving to make a difference.

Skills:
This position requires the following skills and abilities:
* Fluency in English, written and oral, is a must
* Good knowledge of word processing, personal computer, and
database programs (MS Office Suite) and the internet;
* Ability to perform assigned responsibilities under minimal
supervision
* Ability to use good judgment, handle competing priorities
and meet deadlines
* Knowledge of modern office practices, methods, procedures
and office equipment;
* Strong administrative, interpersonal and organizational
skills;
* Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential matters and
use discretion;

Compensation
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with skill,
